본 연구는 경기지역에 거주하고 있는 치매노인 주부양자 99명을 대상으로 치매노인에 대한 관련변인의 영향을 조사 분석하였다. 노인학대와 관련된 기존 연구의 연구대상자인 학대피해자 노인과 제3자를 대상으로 한 연구에서 벗어나 실제 학대를 가하는 치매노인 주부양자를 대상으로 학대원인을 규명하고자 하였으며 무엇보다도 치매질병의 특성으로 인한 노인학대에 대한 연구는 현재 전무한 실정이다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 노인학대에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 밝혀진 주부양자와 치매노인의 특성을 통제변수로 하여 부양부담, 사회적 지지, 가족기능을 노인학대 요인으로 재구성하여 각 변인들이 치매노인학대에 미치는 영향에 대해서 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 통하여 치매노인 주부양자가 인식한 치매노인 학대에 영향을 주는 요인들을 확인하여 치매노인 학대의 영향요인을 종합적으로 파악하고 예측하여 치매노인 학대의 예방 및 대책을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 나아가 치매노인 및 가족을 대상으로 한 치매노인학대 예방을 위한 사회사업적 전략과 적합한 서비스 개발 및 발전방안을 모색함으로써 치매노인은 물론 주부양자와 치매노인 가족의 삶의 질 향상에 기여하기 위함이 본 연구의 목적이다.

This paper examined influential factors on dementia-elder-abuse, and study subjects were 99 primary caregivers of the elder in kyonggi. Properties of primary caregivers and the elder who is in dementia, which are proved to be factors influencing elder-abuse, were set as control variables, care-burden, social support, family-function, were reorganized as factors of elder-abuse, then, influences of each variable on dementia-elder-abuse were examined. Finally, the paper confirmed main factors influencing dementia-elder-abuse as primary caregivers in kyonggi understand, tried to offer basic materials for comprehensive understanding·prediction of influential factors of dementia-elder-abuse as well as prevention·countermeasure of dementia-elder-abuse. Furthermore, the main goal of this study is to contribute to elevating living-standards of the elder who is in dementia, primary caregivers, and their family, by groping for developmental direction of dementia-elder-abuse prevention strategies & proper services in the side of public welfare, for patients and their family members.
