Overseas expansion of films is classified into two sections; one is exportation of completion, sales of remake rights, and co-production etc. and the other is film professionals participation of overseas film etc. By our researchers, earlier study has already been found the local box-office results and the assessment with the Korean films that were especially exported to the U.S. in 2009 and 2010, and the remade films. In this study, there is the overseas expansion of film professionals that haven`t been studied yet in earlier study. The overseas expansion of film professionals categorizes as film director, actor, and staff etc. Both local film and joint production film are included. To overcome narrow domestic market, the overseas expansion of Korean film professionals is needed. That is, it is necessary to develop the wider market. Also, on the basis of being verified ability through the work of Korean movie, they were able to get through abroad. In domestic market, however, it has the problems; it is not easy to display their ability and accumulate know-how. Although it seems that they tried to make their own efforts, unfair and unreasonable film production system, which is undergone by staff and latter business, should be corrected as soon as possible. Recently, there is the enforcement of policies such as overseas co-production of media included in film, exportation and overseas expansion of technical strength etc. in Ministry of Science, KT and Future Planning, Content Agency under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korean Film Commission and each local public entities etc. But, in reality, there is merely support on short-term work. They who have experience of overseas expansion make a good evaluation on the system which is reasonable from the beginning of contract stage and is able to maintain the partnership. While this has demerits, this is contrast with domestic production system. In order to maintain the overseas expansion, this is time to ensure the internal stability.
