본 연구는 국내 어린이집 평가인증에 관련된 연구의 연구시기, 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구주제 등의 동향을 분석함으로써 어린이집 평가인증의 현 주소를 알아보고, 후속연구의 기초를 마련하여, 앞으로 어린이집 평가인증 연구의 방향성을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 평가인증이 시행된 2005년부터 2014년 6월까지 발표된 어린이집 평가인증 관련연구 264편을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 자료 분석을 위해 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 평가인증 관련 연구들은 2005년 이후 꾸준히 증가하였으나 2차 평가인증 시행시기 이후부터는 일정수준으로 유지 및 감소추세를 보였다. 둘째, 연구대상 별로는 주로 평가인증 참여 어린이집을 대상으로 하는 경우가 많았고, 원장과 교사를 중심으로 이루어졌으며, 초기 국공립과 민간 어린이집 위주로 이루어졌다가 2차 평가인증 시행시기부터는 모든 어린이집 유형이 고루 연구대상으로 포함되었다, 셋째, 연구방법은 양적 연구방법이 가장 많은 비중을 차지하였다. 넷째, 연구주제면에서 평가인증 운영체계나 평가인증에 대한 평가 및 요구에 관한 연구 등이 주로 다루어졌음을 알 수 있었으며, 평가인증제 관련 연구의 반성적 작업을 토대로 그 시사점을 제시하였다.

The study analyzes the general research trends of the child care center accreditation system in terms of time, subject, method, and theme. The purposes of this study were to explain the current state of the child care center accreditation system and to suggest directions for research on the child care center accreditation system in the future. For these purposes, this study reviewed 264 reports on the child care center accreditation system published during from 2005 to 2014, and analyzed data by calculating frequencies and percentages. According to the results of this study, first, research on the accreditation system increased steadily from 2005, but a number of studies maintained a constant level or decreased after 2010. Second, in terms of subjects, most studies considered child care centers participating in accreditation, and mainly directors and teachers. In addition, mostly public and private child care centers participated in the studies during the early period, but the subjects were sampled from all different types of child care centers after 2010. Third, in terms of research methods, quantitative research occupied the largest portion. Fourth, main themes covered by these studies were the operation of the accreditation system and the evaluation of the system and participants` demands.
