본 연구는 어린이집 교사의 정서조절과 스마트폰 중독, 인터넷 중독과의 관계를 정서조절 하위요인의 차원적 특성에 따라 각 하위요인별 즉, 각 정서조절 전략별로 살펴봄으로써 스마트폰 중독, 인터넷 중독과 각 정서조절 전략별 관련성에 대한 이해를 돕고자 하였다. 경상남도와 부산광역시 어린이집 교사 351명을 조사한 본 연구의 상관분석 결과, 능동적 정서조절 전략은 스마트폰 중독, 인터넷 중독 각각과 유의한 부적 상관, 회피분산적 정서조절 전략은 스마트폰 중독, 인터넷 중독 각각과 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 지지추구적 정서조절 전략은 스마트폰 중독 및 인터넷중독과 유의한 상관이 나타나지 않았다. 스마트폰 중독 및 인터넷 중독에 대한 회귀 분석 결과, 능동적 정서조절 전략은 스마트폰 중독, 인터넷 중독 각각에 유의한 부적인 영향을, 회피분산적 정서조절전략은 스마트폰 중독, 인터넷 중독 각각에 유의한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 지지추구적 정서조절 전략은 인터넷 중독에는 유의한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면 스마트폰 중독에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 그동안 연구되어 오지 못한 어린이집 교사의 정서조절, 스마트폰 중독, 인터넷 중독의 관계에 대한 이해에 기여하고, 이들의 심리적 건강과 보육의 질 제고를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

This study investigated the relationship between emotion regulation and smartphone and internet addiction of day care center teachers, focusing on emotional regulation strategies. The participants were 351 teachers who work at day care centers in Gyeongsangnam-do and Pusan, Korea. The results of indicated that active regulation strategy was negatively correlated to smartphone addiction and internet addiction, avoidance and dispersion regulation strategy was positively correlated to both addiction, and support seeking regulation strategy was not correlated to both addiction. The results of regression were that active regulation strategy was negatively related to smartphone addiction and internet addiction, avoidance and dispersion regulation strategy was positively related to both addiction, and support seeking regulation strategy was positively related to internet addiction only. The findings would be helpful to understand the relation between emotional regulation strategies and smartphone addiction and internet addiction of day care center teachers in Korea.
