The purpose of this study was to generalize, based on analysis of existing work, attitudes of Koreans in Seoul toward leisure activities using demographic and social variables. The independent variables chosen for the study were gender, age group, life cycle(different stages of life), religion, occupation, education level, income and exposure to leisure education. The dependent variable was limitations on leisure activities. The conclusions reached based on comparison between this study and the existing work are as follows with respect to dependent variable of limitations an leisure activities : (1) no difference for gender; (2) no difference for age group; (3) no difference for religion; (4) difference for life cycle; (5) no difference for occupation; (6) na difference for education level; (7) no difference for income level; and (8) na difference for exposure to leisure education.
