Objects This study was carried out to analyze the leisure activities and leisure functioning of male adults. Methods The subjects of this study were 229 male adults living in Seoul. they were students` parents in 7 schools. This study utilized the structured questionnaire to measure leisure functioning, leisure activities, and so on. The statistical analysis was performed by SPSS /PC+. It utilized Hierarchical Multiple Regression to analyze the impact of independent variable on dependent variable(leisure functioning). Results According to multiple regression, 1) Age, income, religion, and marital status had significant effect on the leisure functioning of male adults. 2) The participation of leisure activities was of statistical significance in increasing the leisure functioning, particular leisure involvement, and leisure need. 3) The participation of time spending leisure activities was analyzed to have negative effects on the leisure competence, leisure involvement, and leisure need. 4) The participation of family oriented leisure activities was analysed to have negative effects on the leisure involvement.
