This paper proposes a procedure for developing user oriented quality information systems. Quality information systems should be designed to make or help the quality system and quality engineers to do the right things to prevent defective products. To do so, a lot of user requirements should be collected and analyzed systematically. In analyzing such requirements, it is important to identify which data and information users want to know and in what type such information should be displayed and presented. In this paper, a systematic procedure is proposed to design an quality information system that can deliver and display proper information to the user`s needs.
