Manufacturing organizations in Korea are under intense competitive pressures. Major changes are being experienced with respect to resources, markets, manufacturing processes, and product strategies. As result of international competition, only the most productive and cost-effective industries will survive. Manufacturing organizations are thus faced with the need to optimize the way in which they function in order to achieve the best possible performance within necessary constraints. This Paper empirically studies methodologies of manufacturing innovations in order to build up production svstems efficiently in Korean companies.
