The hydraulic system for the hot leveller in the plate mill of the PH steel plant Is to improve the flatness of the hot-rolled plate. This study analysed the reason of the extraordinary peak pressures and differential pressures occurred between four synconous unjamming cylinders. The retrofit methodology to resolve the problem and the maintenance results are also described.
