In this paper, we, as a Korean-teacher at highschool, have read the message of Cheongsanbyeolgok, the folk song of Koryeo Dynasty. We did not tried new annotation for the song but synthesized various discussions about it. And we read the meaning of the song on the point of view of a linguist rather than a literary critic. The result is as follows; (1) Cheongsanbyeolgok is not the sun of two songs, so to speak, `song of mountain` and `song of sea`. (2) `Bird 새` in this poem is not just one of fowl but a personified thing. Then it is not the furrow of a field. (3) `Ing 잉` is not a rust or moss but a weed. (4) `Ejyeongji 에졍지` is a ritual place maybe. (5) In conclusion, the lyric heroins of this song is a wanderer in grief about her misfortune because of dead lover.
