The possibility of Eco Human Science and Ecologica Imagination as seen in "The Mountain" written by Lee, Hyo Seok-From thbuddhist`s point of view toward Jung Saeng(衆生). This paper is a part of the wor to extract the theories about ecology from the tradition of eastern cultural science and to establish new comments of eco-literature and eco-human science by grafting these theories on western ecology. The ideal is to keep the balance of the life systems of humans and nature, the self and the world and to live lives on the earth with harmony. This is Ecotopia. This Ecotopia. This is what ecology wants to accomplish. Ecotopia is made possible by the arena of art, especially literature. This is the only thing that can keep its autonomy from the logic of the market system based on Capitalism. The western logos-centric ideology and human-centric ideology fixed by the philosophy of Descartes is broken up by illuminating the Buddha`s point of view toward mankind which is seen through the worlds view of Buddhism. Buddhist point of view toward mankind helps us speculate about lives with an organic view of the world. The speculation about life and death in Pati Tyasamutpa das(Yeon gis) point of view breaks up the binary opposition between the animate and the inanimate. The worlds view of Buddhist becomes a new possibility of the 21st centurys eco-human science by providing a new paradigm to take a view of the whole arena of ecological mechanism. I looked around for the possibility of the eco-literature in Korean literature from the analysis of Lee, Hyo Seoks work, "The Mountain". Lee, Hyo Seok wrote his works, as a form of critical aesthetics against Fascism of Imperialism, while the clouds of World War Ⅱ hung heavily. He created his works as the harmony of nature with the aesthetic imagination of harmony between the self and the world. This is in contrast to the object-oppressive Totalitarianism. In this perspective, there is a necessity for the illumination of eco-literature that is prevalent in Korean literature that was written in the 1930s. This necessity is suggested as a flow of the 3rd worlds literature that originated in the east Asian ideology against western Fascism.
