The latter half of 1930s is a period which gets an important meaning in many ways. Especially, analysis and evaluation for `transplantation` is entirely different by literary view and ideal, acknowledged by Im Hwa, Kim Ki-rim, Kim Dong-lee, representative of Pro, modernism, and pure literature each. Such difference in literary prospect is, also, closely related wit the development of Korean literature after Korean Liberation. Therefore, this thesis is to deal with three issues in priority. These are way of explaining about cause of `transplantation`, process of it and analysis and evaluation for the result, and alternatives to overcome `transplantation`. By comparing three critics` arguments, this thesis is to investigate how their difference in prospect is related with their own literary ideal, what meaning they get in features of literary criticism in the latter half of 1930s, further how they are related with the profess of development afterwards. Especially, argument of `transplantation` gives some hand, my hope, in groping for the possibility of postcolonization of the modem Korean literature. That`s because postcolonization of the modem Korean literature, without overcoming `transplantation`, is not possible. In this respect, It can be said that the ultimate aim of this thesis is to check the possibility of postcolonization of the modem Korean literature by `transplantation` argument in the latter half of 1930s.
