As a link in the study of envoying poems of Zi Bong(芝峯), firstly, I try to examine his consciousness in view of strange scenery. His consciousness has thee aspects. First, he reveals his feelings and concerns rising in encountering strange scenery. He poeticizes gusto, realistic predicaments and troubles, devotion to his duty, Second, removing vulgarity through pure and bright atmosphere of natural feature mirrored afresh, he meals unworldly consciousness. But his inclination toward unworldliness is not of escapism, but of continuing into means of purification of secular things. Third, poeticizing strange features of a border region, he reveals his realistic consciousness implicatively. Showing an objective landscape in front, he reveals his cod-head recognition of the actual surroundings and his wish in behind. His consciousness through landscape of border region is revealed into two ways. In his poem, Saehagok<塞下曲>, ideal consciousness which is characteristics of early border region poetry ad realistic consciousness facing up to reality after Tang period is contained. First, his consciousness is revealed in borrow of conventional mind-symbol. Though he borrows established conventional poetic words and mind-symbols, because its contents are facing up to the reality and his h o p and wishes, difference about consciousness orientation of early border poetry is prominent. Second revealing his realistic consciousness by facing up to the actual surroundings, his consciousness of accurate judgement of international situation, and looking the actual surroundings cod-headly is revealed well.
