칠머리당의 영등굿은 환영제와 송별제가 있는 이원적 구조로 되어 있다. 영등환영제는 영등신을 청하여 맞이하고 대접하는 의례인데, 중간에 수산협동조합에서 주관하는 풍어제가 행해졌다. 그것은 무속의례가 민중들의 삶과 유리되어 있지 않고 밀착되어 있다는 것을 보여주는 것이며, 제주도 무속의례의 기본형식이 새로운 양상으로 변화될 수 있다는 것을 암시하는 것이기도 하다. 송별제는 큰 제차(본향듦, 용왕맞이 등) 안에 많은 작은 제차가 포함된 이중구조를 지니고 있다. 그리고 다른 지역의 영등굿에서 볼 수 없는 재물을 관장하는 도깨비신을 모시는 영감놀이가 제차의 한 부분으로 삽입되어 있다. 이것은 신앙민들의 소망인 구복제액을 거듭 반복하여 기원하기 위한 것이라 하겠다.

The purpose of this thesis is to Reserch on The YOUNG -DUNG Shamanist Ritie of Chil-meli-dang in JEJU. The YOUNG -DUNG Shamanist Ritie of Chil-meli-dang consist of two organizations, reception rite and farewell rite. The reception rites is to receive God of YOUNG -DUNG, and it has been closely related to residents. The farewell rite is to send off God of YOUNG -DUNG. The farewell rite have many small rites which are repeated. The farewell rite have "The Play of Young-Gam" which has been worship as magician who control property. It symbolizes the wish of people who want to obtain riches and longevity.
