This paper analyzes the technology intensity reflected in industrial structre and examines the patterns of embodied technology flows in knowledge-based industries in both Korea and Japan for the years 1995 and 2000. This paper shows that Korea is higher than Japan in R&D intensity for industry linkages in knowledge-based industries for both Korea and Japan. Compared Korea with Japan, Japan is higher than Korea in both technology intensity linkages and technology diffusion linkages.
