본 연구는 자원부족이라는 벤처기업의 독특한 특성을 감안하여 자원기준관점과 이를 보완하는 관계론적 관점, 그리고 국제화와 국제직접투자, 전략적 선택 및 그들의 상호작용이 벤처기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 했다. 회귀분석 결과는 기업의 기술역량과, 국제화, 그리고 차별화전략의 추구는 기업의 경영성과에 정의 영향을 미친다는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구 결과는 또한 기업의 기술역량과 차별화 전략 간의 상호작용, 그리고 차별화전략과 국제진출간의 상호작용 변수들의 회귀계수들은 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 정의 값을 가진다는 것을 보여 준다. 이는 기업의 기술역량과 차별화전략간, 그리고 차별화전략과 국제진출간에는 상승작용이 있어 기업의 경영성과에 정의 영향을 미친다는 것을 시사한다. 중소벤처기업은 조직내부에 보유하는 자원이 충분치 않기 때문에 자신에게 부족한 자원과 역량을 보완할 수 있는 파트너와의 제휴를 통한 가치창조가 중요하다. 그러나 회귀분석 결과는 벤처기업의 기술역량과 마케팅제휴, 그리고 기술역량과 생산제휴간의 상호작용은 벤처기업의 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못한다는 것을 시사한다.

During recent years a significant development within the broad globalization trend has been increasingly active role played by small and medium-sized venture firms. The establishment of new ventures lies at the foundation of entrepreneurship, and the establishment and growth of entrepreneurial ventures is responsible for much of the wealth creation in many nations. In this paper, we considered arguments suggested by four perspectives based on organizational resources, internationalization, alliance capabilities and strategic choices, and explored whether young venture firms could improve performance by using firm-specific resources, leveraging inter-organizational relationships, focusing on extensive internationalization and making proper strategic choices. Regression results show that firm`s technological capabilities, differentiation strategy and international sales positively affected its performance. The findings also show that the interaction of firm`s technological capabilities and its differentiation strategy and the interaction of its differentiation strategy and internationalization also positively affected its performance. However, the finding suggests that small and medium-sized venture firms` establishing manufacturing subsidiaries abroad did not improve their performances. Statistical test results also find that the interaction of firm`s technological capabilities and its marketing alliance with other organizations and the interaction of firm`s technological capabilities and its manufacturing alliance with other organizations did not affect its performance significantly.
