이 연구의 목적은 방송 언어의 평가 지수와 평가 방법에 대해서 고찰하는 데 있다. 방송 언어의 평가 지수는 방송 언어의 특성, 방송 장르의 성격과 목적, 방송위원회의 ``방송 심의에 관한 규정``과 방송사의 ``방송 강령`` 등을 고려하여 개발한다. 방송인의 방송 언어를 평가하는 방법으로는 자기 평가법, 상호 평가법, 수용자 평가법, 방송사 평가법 등이 있다. 방송 언어를 합리적으로 평가하려면 평가 대상에 따라 그 단위를 달리하여야 한다. 두 명 이상의 훈련된 코더가 동일한 녹화한 것을 음성 전사한다. 그들이 음성 전사한 동일한 녹취문을 각자 읽고 분석 단위별로 문제가 있는지를 검토한 뒤에 언어상의 문제가 있을 때에는 해당 평가 지수에 표시를 한다. 그리고 그것을 상호 비교하여 상이한 것은 녹취문을 다시 보고 합의점을 찾아 정확성을 기한다. 코더가 코딩한 자료를 가지고 평가 지수별 문제 언어 발생 빈도와 단순 합산 지수와 차별 합산 지수를 제시한다.

This paper focues on considering about the index and the methods of the assessment for Broadcasting Languages. We developed the assessment index on consudering the propersity of broadcasting genre, broadcasting consideration regulation of Korean Broadcasting Commission, broadcasting general principles of broadcasting company in Korea. The methods that evaluate the language of broadcasting person are self-assessment method, mutual assessment method, receiver assessment method, assessment method of broadcasting company etc. If we intend to ssess broadcasting language rationally, we must differ the unit according to evaluation targets. Trained coders more than two transcribe identical data. They read equal sentences that they transcribe each. If they find problems of broadcastion language among them sign in relevant the assessment index. They present the occurrence frequancy of them, simple total index, and differential total index by assessment index.
