본고는 고전시가에 나타난 여성 화자의 다양한 목소리를 확인하여 여성 화자 연구에 새로운 시각을 제공하고자 하는 데에 궁극적 목적을 두고 있다. 이에 시론적 성격을 띤 본고는 먼저 기존논의를 반성적으로 검토하고, 이 결과를 <정읍사>를 대상으로 고찰하여 검증하고자 하였다. 본고의 고찰 결과를 정리하여 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존 논의는 여성화자의 목소리를 단일한 것으로 파악하는 경향을 보였다. 여성은 ``타자화·사물화`` 되어 있다고 파악하는 것이 주류를 이루었다. 그래서 작품의 어학적 해석과 그 의미를 파악함에 있어서 여성의 단일한 삶을 드러내려는 방향으로 이루어졌다. 둘째, <정읍사>를 대상으로 어학적 검토와 그 시적 의미를 검토한 결과, <정읍사>의 여성 화자는 남편의 무사귀환을 바라는 것은 물론 자기 자신을 온전히 회복하려는 인식이 자리하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 <정읍사>의 여성을 사랑의 주체자로서 임의 부재라는 상처를 받아들일 수 있는 능력을 소유하고 있는 존재로 파악하였다. 이상에서 본 바와 같이 <정읍사>의 여성은 일반적으로 지적되어온 여성의 타자성과는 다른 태도를 다분히 지니고 있다 하겠다. 사랑의 주체적 태도를 지니고 있는 여성은 <정읍사> 외 많은 고전시가에서 보이는 바, 본고의 논의를 확장하여 살펴본다면 다양한 성격을 지니고 있는 여성상을 밝혀낼 수 있다고 생각한다. 기존의 논의에 본고의 논의가 첨가될 때 보다 온전한 한국 여성상의 모습이 드러나리라 기대된다.

This study has the goal that confirm diversific voice of woman speaker about Classic Poems, so offer new view point to woman speak study. So the study is reflective investigation about established argument, next to investigate Jungeubsa(井邑詞) on the basis of it`s result. Investigated result of the study contents as following. First, established argument show a tendency to grasp of simplified to woman speaker voice. Woman is grasped ``the other existence``. So linguistic interpretatin and meaning of Text is formed toword show to women`s simplified life. Secondly, Woman speaker of jungeubsa(井邑詞) wanted a return home of husband, but has restoration of a sense of sel, too. Therefore woman of Jungeubsa(井邑詞) is grasped to existence of the subject of love. As mentioned above woman of Jungeubsa(井邑詞) is different from the other woman at general understanding of woman`s attituce. And subjective woman appear much at classic poems beside Jungeubsa(井邑詞). If it is extended the study, it is expected invesrigatiion a variety of women`s image.
