10년 만에 나온 2007년 국어과 교육과정에서 문법 영역과 과목은 몇 가지 특징을 보인다. <국어> 과목의 영역 명칭이 ``국어 지식``에서 ``문법``으로 바뀌었고 성격과 목표 부분에서 ``언어``라는 표현이 ``국어``로 바뀌어서, 영역과 과목의 정체성을 드러내 주고 있다. 내용 체계에서 실제와 맥락을 강조하고 있으며, 문법 영역에서는 ``탐구``를 하나의 체계로 설정하고 있다. 문법 내용의 위계성을 어느 정도 보여 주고 있고, 교수학습의 통합화 및 평가의 다양화도 주목된다. 선택 과목으로서의 <문법> 교육과정에서는 살아있는 문법 교육을 지향하고 있다. 내용 체계를 ``국어와 앎, 국어와 삶, 국어와 얼``로 체계적으로 세우고 있다. 특히 ``국어와 얼`` 부분에서 ``국어의 변천``을 다루게 한 것이 주목된다. 영역이나 학습 내용을 통합하는 통합적 교수 학습방법을 지향하는 것도 주목되며, 특히 교정을 통한 문법 교수법이 눈에 띈다. 평가 방법의 다양화가 엿보이며, 특히 국어 활동을 통한 문법 능력 평가 방안이 제시되고 있다. 살아있는 국어 교육에 이바지하는 문법 교육이 필요한 때다. 사고력 신장에 이바지한다는 기본 전제 아래, 탐구 학습을 비롯한 통합적 교수법이 요청된다.

It is characteristic that 2007 Korean curriculum focuses reality and context, especially ``exploration`` in grammar scope. It is known that hierarchy in grammar contents, unification in teaching & learning, and variety in evaluation methods are characteristic. , selectional subject, has focused living grammar education. Content systems consist of three, that is, Korean knowledge, Korean life & Korean attitude. It is focused unified methods in teaching & learning, especially erection. There is variety of evaluation methods. Now is the time for grammar education to contribute to living Korean education. Under thought power raising, unified methods containing exploration method are necessary.
