본고는 2007년 2월 28일 고시된 개정 국어과 교육과정의 문법 교육 내용의 특징을 밝히고, 문법 교육 내용의 본질 구현을 위한 관련 과제를 탐색하였다. 개정 문법 교육과정은 7차 문법 교육과정과 다음과 같은 세 가지 점에서 차별 화된다. 첫째는 ``탐구`` 범주 설정을 통해 ``탐구 과정`` 그 자체를 교육 내용에 반영 했다는 점이다. 둘째는 ``맥락`` 범주의 설정을 통해 ``학습자``와 ``사회``를 교육 내용에 응축시키려 노력했다는 점이다. 셋째는 탐구의 대상을 구체적인 ``텍스트``로 명시했다는 점이다. 개정 문법 교육과정의 이와 같은 의도는 그 방향의 타당성에도 불구하고 그러한 의도가 구체화되지 못했다는 점에서 문제적이다. 실제 교육 내용은 7차 교육 내용과 크게 차별화되지 않는다. 개정 문법 교육과정의 의도가 실질적으로 구현되기 위해서는 ``문법 탐구 과정``에 대한 천착을 통해 ``문법 탐구 경험``만이 갖는 특질을 밝힐 필요가 있다. 또한 구체적인 맥락 속에서 하나의 문법 범주를 탐구해 가는 학습 주체의 경험을 분석하여, 맥락과 학습 주체의 특성을 반영한 교육 내용을 실질적으로 개발해야 한다. 마지막으로 구체적인 텍스트를 중심으로 문법을 탐구해가는 교수·학습 과정에 대한 분석을 통해 ``텍스트 중심`` 문법 교육 내용을 ``구체적으로`` 제시해 주어야 한다.

The aim of this paper is to make the characteristic of grammar curriculum(is announced in 2007) clear and to bring up a research task that embodies the essence of grammar educational contents. The characteristic of 2007 revised grammar educational contents is as follows. First, ``a exploration process`` was regarded as educational contents through establishment of ``exploration`` category. Second, the grammar curriculum reflected ``learner`` and ``contexts`` onto educational contents. Third, the grammar curriculum elucidated the subject of exploration as ``text``. By the way, that`s intention of grammar curriculum was not materialized in grammar educational contents. We must have attack the characteristic of grammar exploration process at the grass-roots for the realization of educational contents. And we must have analyzed the experience of learner who explore grammar in context. Then, we can develop educational contents reflected ``learner`` and ``contexts``. Lastly, it is necessary to present ``text-centered educational contents`` concretely.
