본고는 대인간 갈등 대처 능력에 대한 교육적 필요성을 인식하고, 갈등에 대처하는 의사소통 방법으로서 ``협상``에 주목하였다. 이에 협상의 개념과 전략을 살펴봄으로써 협상의 국어교육적 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 협상의 개념과 전략에 대해 검토하고, 이를 국어교육적으로 적용할 수 있는 방안에 대해 제언 하였다. 기존의 협상 개념을 국어교육적 관점에서 재개념화하기 위해서 협상의 개념적 속성을 검토하되, 기존 집단 화법 유형인 토론, 토의와 어떻게 변별될 수 있는가를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 더불어 협상 참여자의 양면적 성격을 국어교육 관점에서 어떻게 주목해야하는가에 대해 논의하였다. 협상 과정에 직접적 영향을 주는 ``이익`` 변인의 특성을 살피고, 추구되는 이익에 따라 달리 활용될 수 협상 전략에 대해 알아보았다. 협상은 참여자들이 추구하는 이익에 따라 크게 네 가지 전략이 있으며, 타협 전략은 네 가지 전략과 함께 사용될 수 있는 유용한 협상 전략이라고 보았다. 마지막으로 협상 전략이 화법 교육에 적용될 수 있는 방안으로 상위 인지 활동을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore educational possibilities of Negotiation on the Korean Education perspective. For this purpose, It focuses on the concept and strategies of Negotiation and is investigated the way in which we apply them to Korean education. In this paper, I tried to re-conceptualized Negotiation on the Korean Education perspective. and draw a comparison among group communication genre. And also, It focuses on Negotiation strategies and a variable factor, ``interests`` which affects strategies. and I discuss four types of strategy according to one`s aims to negotiate. Finally, I suggest that negotiation strategies can be used through meta-cognition practice for applying to speech communication Education.
