감정동사는 인간의 감정 상태를 살펴볼 수 있는 중요한 수단 중 하나이다. 우리가 사용하는 감정동사를 잘 분석, 활용하면 물리적인 방법으로는 알기 어려운 인간의 다양한 감정을 종류와 정도 면에서 알 수 있다. 이에 본고는 기존의 선행 연구 결과들을 이용하여 감정동사들을 의미 유형 별로 구분하고, 이를 다시 의미 특성 별로 구분하였다. 이를 통하여 감정동사는 적어도 여섯 가지로 나누어 볼 수 있고, 이를 다시 상태형과 반응형으로 구분해 볼 수 있었다. 상태형은 대상에 대한 묘사에 집중하기에 대상이 어떠한 상태에 있는지를 비교적 자세히 알 수 있고, 반응형은 주체의 반응을 묘사하는 데에 집중하기에 주체가 느끼는 감정이 어느 정도인지를 보다 잘 알 수 있다.

Feeling verb could be a good source to observe the men`s feeling status. If we analyze and utilize them well, we can get the men`s feeling type and its degree which are difficult by the traditional physical way. So this paper divided feeling`s type by 6 meanings and divided it again by 3 characters. 6 meanings are love, joy, surprise, anger, sadness and fear. And 3 characters are state, reaction and state/reaction. 6 meanings category can tell feeling sort and 3 character category can tell information sort. State character verb focus on object`s state so we can describe it by detail. And reaction type character verb focus on the subject`s reaction so we can know the degree of feeling.
