The purpose of the study was to examine educational methods of Korean language and Korean culture for marriage immigrants increased gradually in the present Korean society. It was thought that it was necessary to be equipped with auxiliary textbooks including multi-cultural elements since the present textbooks for immigrants are communication-centered textbooks. Therefore, the study proposed an educational plan, considering language and culture, with traditional fairy tales. It is easy to approach each culture since traditional fairy tales have common elements in various cultures. Also, it is thought that traditional fairy tales are useful since Korean language in the fairy tales includes practical vocabularies. With traditional fairy tales, first, families make progress of vocabulary-centered education at their houses. Second, immigrant centers or specialized Korean language educational agencies give immigrants lessons in various ways with the same data. The educational method with traditional fairy tales has merits that can connect families with educational agencies and can teach language and culture at once. If the authorities apply proper traditional fairy tales to an auxiliary textbook by analyzing subjects and target sentence patterns of textbooks for immigrants now, they will become a useful educational data.
