이 연구는 2007년 개정 교육과정이 공포되고 교과서를 개발하는 현 시점에서 교육과정 내용이 교과서로 실행되는 방안에 논의의 초점이 있다. 교육과정의 성취 기준이 단원 목표, 차시 목표, 학습 활동으로 구체화 되는 과정이 교육과정 상세화이다. 이 상세화의 일정한 기준과 원리는 다음과 같다. 교육과정이 교과서로 실행되는 과정에 설정되는 과정을 성취 기준, 단원 목표, 내용 요소의 예, 차시 목표, 학습 활동 등의 연차적 관계로 볼 수 있다. 그래서 상세화 기준을 성취 기준과 단원 목표의 관련성, 내용 요소의 선정과 조직의 적합성, 단원 목표와 차시 목표의 관계성 차원으로 접근하였다. 성취 기준과 단원 목표는 외형적 관계, 내용 반영 정도, 반영 층위로 나누었고, 내용 요소의 선정과 조직은 동일, 변형, 미반영으로 단원 목표와 차시 목표는 적합성 여부를 판단하여 좀 더 효율적이고 효과적인 교과서 구현이 되는 원리를 제시하고자 하였다. 이렇게 밝힌 원리는 개정 교육과정의 특징 분석을 기반으로 하여 이루어졌기 때문에 개정 교과서에 직접적인 비판과 대안의 기준이 된다. 이 연구에서는 현재 개발 적용 중인 1, 2학년 실험본 개정 국어 교과서와 개발 중인 3, 4학년 교과서를 대상으로 상세화 기준과 원리로 분석하여 보았다. 여기서 밝혀진 원리는 향후 교과서 개발에 도움이 될 것이다. 이를 위해 교과서 내용 상세화의 지향점으로는 성취 기준의 유연한 해석, 내용 요소의 활용, 맥락의 활용 방안, 학습자 중심의 구성 등을 들었다.

The focus of this study is find out the ways how the context of 2007 revised curriculum be effectively carried out to the text book. The concretion of the curriculum means the process that accomplishment standard of the curriculum takes shape with the unit goal, lesson`s goal and learning activities. The standard and principle of this concretion are as follows. The accomplishment standard, unit goal, the example of the context element, lesson`s goal and learning activities can be methods to actualize the curriculum by the textbook, and these relations of the each method are important. So I approached the concretion standard by the accomplishment standard, the relation of unit goal, the selection of context elements, suitability of the organization, the relation of the unit goal and lesson`s goal. These principles of concretion standard can be the direct criticism and criteria of alternative about the revised textbook, because it is made by the analysis of the revised curriculum, The appropriates of these principles can be helpful to the development of the new textbook in the future, and as the aim of these principles, I suggested the flexible analysis of the accomplishment standard, application of the context elements, application method of the context and learner oriented structure.
