본고는 `단문`을 소재로 한문을 교수할 때, 무엇을 어떠한 방식으로 담아야 할 것인가에 대한 문제에서 출발하였다. 일반적으로 한문에서 `단문`이라고 할 때, `단문`은 여러 가지 경우를 지칭한다. 통상 하나의 문장으로 된 짧은 문장을 `단문`이라고 하지만 대학의 교재를 살펴보면 단문에 故事와 逸話를 포함한 비교적 짧은 한편의 문장까지 아울러 다루고 있다. 본고의 주제가 `단문` 소재 교육용 콘텐츠 개발에 관한 것이기 때문에 여기에서는 2007년 개정 교육과정 해설서에서 정의한 `단문`으로 범위를 한정하고, 단문을 소재로 한 교육용 콘텐츠 구성 방안에 대하여 "읽기"와 "이해"영역으로 나누어 살펴보고, 단문 소재 교육용 콘텐츠 활용 방안에 대하여 `초급 한문 교재로의 활용`, `한문 문화 관련 교재로서의 활용`으로 나누어 논의하였다.

This paper started from a question what/how to put in when instructing Chinese Classics with `Simple Sentence` as a subject matter. When we generally call `Simple Sentence` in Chinese Classics, it is referred to variously. We usually call one short sentence `Simple Sentence`, but it can relatively be one short story including historic facts and tales looking in the university textbooks. Because the theme of this paper is regarding learning contents development whose subject matter is `Simple Sentence`, it is defined here in the range of Curriculum Manual amended in 2007. Also, composition plans of learning contents with simple sentences is examined in two parts, "Reading" and "Understanding", and it is discussed with two parts, "Application as a basic textbook in Chinese Classics" and "Application as a textbook related to cultures in Chinese Classics" for application plans of learning contents with simple sentences.
