이 논문은 한국철학사상연구회(한철연)의 역사를 `시대와 철학`이라는 모토 하에서 정체성의 변화 과정을 추적하고 있다. 한철연은 `시대의 혼`이자 `시대 모순의 반역자`이고자 하는 생산자적이고 비판적인 주체적 철학을 모색하는 `학술운동`으로부터 출발하였다. 그러나 한철연의 잡지인 『시대와 철학』이 두 개의 창간호를 가지고 있으며 이 두 개의 칭간호가 1987년과 1991년이라는 점에서 이미 두 개의 간극, 사이 속에서 탄생했으며 이 긴장을 속에서 자신의 정체성을 유지해 왔다. 시대와 철학은 언제나 일정한 간극 속에서 갈등을 생산한다. 그러나 철학은 시대와 연결됨으로써 `시대정신`을 생산하는 철학이 될 수 있으며 시대는 철학을 통해서 대안적 삶의 새로운 정신을 획득할 수 있다. 그러나 한철연의 역사에서 이 두 개의 결합은 `철학 없는 시대`에서 `철학 있는 시대`로의 시도를 거쳐, `시대 없는 철학`으로 퇴색되어 왔다. `시대 없는 철학`은 대학의 신자유주의적 포섭과 한국학술진홍재단으로의 체제내화와 관련되어 있었다. 철학의 다양성이 확대되었음에도 불구하고 철학은 `실적 쌓기`, `지적 유희`의 대상이 되었다. 이런 점에서 이 논문은 한철연이 `시대와 철학`의 긴장을 유지하려는 애초의 초심으로 되돌아가 사유의 풍부함을 현대화하고 가난한 자들의 철학이면서 비판적이고 주체적인 철학을 조직적으로 모색해야 한다고 주장한다.

In this essay, I will make a search for identity of Korea Association for Studies of Philosophical Thought(KASPT) in view of the motto epoch and philosophy. The beginning of KASPT is an academic movement in quest of a philosophy of maker(labour), a critical philosophy, subjective philosophy wish to a soul of epoch and insurgent of epoch contradiction. But Epoch and Philosophy, journal of KASPT hold on abnormal history that the issue initial number is two. Identity of Philosophical Thought previously originate and inherent in a gap, an interval in between two issue initial number in that each of two issue initial number publish in 1987 and 1991. Epoch and philosophy lead to complications in a gap, an interval in between them. But philosophy can play the role of a philosophy producing the spirit of the age by interfacing epoch and epoch can realize new spirit of alternative life by interfacing philosophy. But in the history of KASPT, a connectin of both have changed from a age seek after epoch in combination with philosophy at epoch in the absence of philosophy to philosophy in the absence of epoch. Philosophy in the absence of epoch has been molded by the environment in which neo-liberalism seizure the university and Korea Research Foundation code a researcher by research and development expenditures. Although philosophy is diversified, study of philosophy turn into a object of giving actual result , scholastic amusements. For this reason, this essay assert that KASPT go back to one s original intention pursued a state of tension between epoch and philosophy and modernize philosophy based on abundance of thinking and explore ways toward a philosophy of the poor, critical philosophy, subjective philosophy.
