본 연구는 우리나라 학생들의 쓰기 효능감 발달의 구체적인 양상을 밝히는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 등학생 525명, 중학생 860명, 고등학생 2,925명 총 4,310명을 대상으로 하여 쓰기 기능 효능감 검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라 학생들의 쓰기 효능감을 구성하는 요인은 표현 기능 효능감과 문법 기능 효능감으로 구성된다. 쓰기 효능감 가운데 표현 기능효능감은 68.642%의 설명 변량 가운데 57.893%를 차지하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 문법 기능 효능감은 전체 68.642%의 설명 변량 가운데 10.749%을 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초·중·고등학교의 학교 급을 중심으로 쓰기 효능감을 분석하였을 때, 초등학교와 중학교는 큰 차이가 없으나, 고등학교는 상대적으로 매우 낮은 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 쓰기 효능감의 발달 양상을 학년별로 살펴보면, 초등학교 1학년에서 높게 시작된 효능감이 학년이 올라가면서 점차 감소하는 추세를 뚜렷하게 보여준다. 감소폭이 큰 학년은 초등학교 4학년과, 고등학교 1학년 시기이다. 넷째, 쓰기 효능감의 성별 차이 분석에서, 초등학교 시기는 여학생이 더 높은 것으로 나타났으나, 고등학교 시기는 남학생이 통계적으로 유의하게 더 높은 것으로 나타났다.

This paper`s aim is to find writing self-efficacy of Korean students. For this 4,310 students were participated in this research. They were asked for response the writing self-efficacy scales and the responses are analyzed. The results are following. First, writing self-efficacy of Korean students consist of composition skill efficacy and basic grammar skill efficacy. They have explanation capability of 68.642% to total variance of the writing self-efficacy. Second, analyzed writing self-efficacy based school stage, it was found that high school students show the lowest writing self-efficacy scores. And the score of elementary school students is higher than that of middle school students, the score is not much different. Third, analyzed based grade, it is found that the writing self-efficacy is gradually decreased through 1~12th grade. Especially, writing self-efficacy of 4th and 10th grade students is showed dramatic decrease aspects. Forth, writing self-efficacy of Korean students has gender gap that in the case of elementary school students, female students have higher scores than that of males, especially 2th~6th grade. But as high school aged, it was founded a reversal of the situation.
