낭원군 이간은 조선 왕실의 종친으로서 『영언』이라는 가집과 30수라는 많은 시조 작품을 남겼지만 상대적으로 그의 작품에 대한 연구는 미미한 실정이었다. 이 글에서는 낭원군의 시조가 왕실의 종친연과 관련한 다양한 문화적 실천 상황 속에서 창작되었음을 살펴 선현들이 삶의 국면마다 멋스러운 풍류를 즐겼던 것을 확인하였다. 그뿐만 아니라 『청진』의 「이하조 발문」에서 이하조가 『영언』에 수록된 작품을 `跌宕山水之間`, `愛君圖報之願`, `勅身自警之意`의 세 유형으로 나눈 점을 바탕으로, 현전하는 낭원군 작품에서 이와 같은 특성이 나타나는 양상을 고찰하였다. 한편 『청진』, 『병가』, 『해일』, 『시가』 등 17개 가집에서 낭원군 시조의 수록 양상을 살펴 그의 작품이 19세기 초·중반까지 전승되다가 이후 『가곡원류』 시기에는 전승이 거의 단절되는 모습을 확인하였다.

Nangwongoon Lee Gan is a member of the royal family of Chosun dynasty. He edited a collection of poems Youngun and wrote 30 Sijo(old type of Korean poem). Relatively there are very few researches about his works consider them. Through study which Nangwongoon`s Sijo were created in various cultural participated situations related to banquets of royal clan gathering, I figure out that our ancestors enjoyed their appreciation for the arts at every situations of their lifes in this thesis. Lee Ha-jo stated that he had divided works included in Youngun into 3 types-`跌宕山水之間`, `愛君圖報之願`, `勅身自警之意`- in a postscript on Chungjin. I determine the aspects which same characteristics shown up with remained Nangwongoon`s works also through the record. Otherwise, I find out by researching 17 collections of poems-Chungjin, Byungga, Haeil, Siga etc. including Nangwongoon`s works that the transmission of his works was almost severed after late 19th century the era of Gagokwonryu.
