본고는 국어교육적 맥락에서 여타 교과에서 주로 다루어져 온 오개념을 재개념화하고, 내용 및 방법적 측면에서 국어과 오개념 연구의 방향을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 구성주의적 관점 하에 국어 학습자의 사전 지식 및 신념을 의미 있게 조망할 수 있으며, 가르치고 배워야 할 국어과 지식 내용을 확립하고 명세화할 수 있다는 점에서 국어과 오개념 연구를 의미를 지닌다. 이에 국어과 오개념 연구의 범위와 내용을 범주화하고, 연구의 실질적인 절차 및 방법을 구안하였다. 국어 교과의 중핵을 이루는 개념이 존재하는 한, 이들 개념에 대한 학습자의인식 수준과 변화 과정을 탐색하는 작업은 체계적인 국어과 교수·학습의 기획과 실천을 위해 매우 중요하다. 특히 오개념 연구는 교수·학습의 주체와 환경에 대한 실증적인 연구인 동시에 `내용 중심적` 연구라는 점에서, 국어과 오개념에 대한 체계적인 연구가 본격화될 필요가 있다.

The purpose of the study is to explore directions for the future studies in specific area, `misconception in Korean language education`. In Korean language class, Students have informal knowledge, misconception in Korean language & literature. Therefore Korean language teacher should understand perceptions and misconceptions that student had taken in Korean language learning history. But, There were no attempts to investigate the misconception in Korean language education. This Study reviews previous findings on misconception in Other subject education, especially Science education & Mathematics education. On the base of the result of this review, this study proposes the directions of research in `misconception in Korean language education`: the necessity, domain & object, procedure & method of research in `misconception in Korean language education`.
