This study aims to suggest a plan for the development of teaching materials on culture focusing on experience-centered teaching of Korean. In Korean education, culture education is essential for learning the language. Culture education has an effect on improving communication skills of learners, however to this day full-blown and positive education has not been carried out yet. On top of that, previous teaching materials of the Korean culture have focused on general topics of cultural education which introduce the characteristics or contents of the Korean culture, as oppose to providing cultural field experience to help enhance communication skills. Therefore, the study propose field experiences so as to help learners of Korean have a better understanding of the Korean culture and thereby improve their Korean proficiency, emphasized the need to include more cultural field experiences in teaching materials of culture education in the future.
