본 연구에서는 소상공인의 창업과정특성을 사업계획완성도, 자금조달능력, 전문가활용도, 입지우월성, 업종차별화정도의 다섯 가지 요인으로 파악하고 기업성과에 미치는 영향과 함께 소상공인에 대한 정부지원서비스가 창업과정특성과 기업성과의 관계에 대하여 차별적인 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 소상공인의 창업과정특성 중 사업계획완성도와 전문가활용도 및 업종차별화정도는 기업성과에 유의한 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 소상공인의 자금조달능력과 입지우월성은 선행연구의 주장과는 달리 기업성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 소상공인의 창업과정특성과 기업성과의 관계에 대한 정부지원서비스의 조절효과는 나타나지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 이상의 분석결과는 향후 소상공인을 대상으로 연구와 지원정책의 수립과정에서 창업과정특성요인과 함께 소상공인의 시장변화를 구체적으로 반영할 필요성이 있음을 시사하는 것으로 본다.

This study analyzes effects of five characteristics of business incubating process of small & micro companies those are completeness of business planning, funding ability, expert utilization, location superiority, and business differentiation on the business performance. Also the study analyzes a moderating effect of governmental supporting service on the relationship of characteristics of business incubating process and business performance. Results of the study shows that completeness of business planning, expert utilization, and business differentiation factors give positively significant impact on the business performance of small & micro companies. Contrary to extant literature, however, funding ability and location superiority are not business performance factors. There are no moderating effect of all governmental supporting services on the relationship of characteristics of business incubating process and business performance. These results suggest that both characteristics of business incubating process and changes of small & Micro business market need to be incorporated in the process of deciding governmental supporting policy for small & micro companies and in performing related research.
