Tempered glass plates are used when strength, thermal resistance and safety are significant considerations, and especially the method of manufacturing thin-plate glass having a good quality with a high mass productivity is more important as the micro business industries-solar panel, generation, silicon wafer, precision lens, etc. -are growing rapidly. This study proposed practical and effective chemical process-based manufacturing method that provides the furnace with co-function of preheating and annealing, on top of the molten salt stainless-bath. Low energy and short-time flow can be obtained by our proposed approach, while preserving good quality and a high mass productivity. In addition, our sample experiment shows that applying method is far superior to normal physical-or thermal-strengthened way.
