이 논문은 매체언어교육과 문학교육의 접점을 구체이고 실천적인 방법을 통해 찾아보고자하였다. 논의의 기본 전제는 문학은 본질적으로 미디어 장르의 하나이며 문학 작품은 매체텍스트의 하나로 인식한다는 데 있다. 문자, 양식, 책, 잡지 등은 문학을 존재하게 만드는 요소들로 매체로서 가능을 수행해 왔다. 이 점을 고려한다면 매체언어교육에서 일반적으로 다루어지고 있는 영화, 광고, 신문, 드라마 등과 존재론적 성격은 크게 다르지 않다. 그럼에도 현재의 매체언어교육에서 문학의 위상은 잘 드러나지 않는다. 이 논문이 제시한 접근원리의 핵심은 소설과 매체서사텍스트의 상호작용을 통한 교육방법이다. 서사모티프의 분석을 통한 광고텍스트의 이해와 그로부터 환원되는 소설의 이해, 만화의 원리를 활용한 서사텍스트의 심도있는 이해, 영화 포스터의 구성 방식을 통한 소설의 운리 이해와 그로부터 환원되는 포스터라는 매체 텍스트의 생산 활동, 사건 기사 쓰기를 통한 소설의 화자에 대한 이해와 그로부터 환원되는 기사 작성에 따른 정보 조직의 실천 등이 그 구체적인 예이다. 매체텍스트에 대한 논의는 활발하게 이루어지고 있지만 그것이 교육과정이나 교과서, 교육현장을 통해 구체적이고 실천적으로 구현되고 있다고 보기에는 어려움이 따른다. 소설을 설득이나 정보전달, 사회적 상호작용, 감정표현을 목적으로 하는 표현 양상의 종합적 발현체로 봐야 한다는 점과 소설 단원에서 주어지는 활동의 하나로 매체언어교육이 이루어질 수 있어야 한다는 점을 주장하고 구체적인 사례를 제시해 보았다. 이를 통해 학습자의 문학능력과 매체텍스트 향유능력이 상승 발달할 수 있을 것이라 보았다.

This article aim to examine the interface between the literary education and the media-narrative education in concrete and practically. The basic premise of this article is that literature is a one of media genre and that literary work is a one of media text. The core of approach in this article is e method of teaching based on the interaction between the novel and the media-narrative text. I give a concrete examples as follows; an understanding on advertising text by means of narrative-motif analysis and the understanding resolved itself from that, an in-dept understanding on narrative text by utilizing principles of cartoon, an understanding on principles of novel through method of a movie poster and product activity in learning process resolved itself from that, an understanding on narrator in novels through writing articles on episode and carrying out organizing informations resolved itself from that. We are looking forward to learner`s improving their capability on literature and enjoying media text through my attending methods.
