이 논문은 ‘2007년 개정 국어과 교육과정’이 실제 ‘텍스트 생산’을 강조하고 있다는 점에 주목하여, 이 변화가 교육 현장에서 어느 정도 효율성 있게 정착 가능한지를 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 먼저 2007년 개정 국어과 교육과정의 의도를 쓰기 영역에 한정하여, ‘내용 체계’와 ‘학년별 내용’을 중심으로 검토하였다. 그런 다음 개정의 중점 사항을 세 가지로 재설정하여, 이것이 중학교 1학년 「생활국어」의 쓰기 관련 단원에 얼마나, 어떻게 구현되었는지를 분석, 평가하였다. 세 가지 기준은 첫째, 성취 기준을 중심으로 학습 목표를 설정하였는가, 둘째, 한 편의 텍스트 생산하기 활동을 강조하였는가, 셋째, 단원 목표를 중심으로 지식, 기능, 맥락을 구성하였는가이다. 분석한 결과에 의하면, 교과서는 성취 기준을 학습 목표로 설정함으로써 2007년 개정 국어과 교육과정의 취지를 충실하게 반영하고 있다. 하지만 이것은 단순히 외형적인 면만을 분석했을 경우에만 해당한다. 좀 더 세부적으로 살펴보면, 실제 설명문 쓰는 활동이 이루어지지 않거나, 설명문을 쓰는 데 필요한 지식이나 기능, 맥락을 습득할 수 있는 활동으로 구성되지 않은 경우가 있다. 이는 실제를 중심축으로 지식, 기능, 맥락의 통합을 계획하는 2007년 개정 국어과 교육과정의 의도를 반영하지 못한 것으로, 실제 교육 현장에서 교과서 중심의 수업을 하게 된다면 2007년 개정 국어과 교육과정이 충실하게 실행되는 것이 어렵다는 것을 의미한다.

Focusing on the fact that the 2007 revised Korean curriculum actually emphasized the production of texts, the paper has examined the degree to which this shift can be effectively set up. To this end, the paper limits the purpose of the 2007 revised Korean curriculum to the writing sphere to examine it on the basis of the structural and school-year contents. The paper thereafter reestablishes the pivotal points of the next curriculum by analyzing and evaluating how and to what degree it was reflected in the Korean writing section for the 7th graders. The results of the analysis indicate that the textbook has truly mirrored the goals of the 2007 revised Korean curriculum by setting the lesson goals on the achievement basis. But this applies in case it simply analyzed the external aspects. Going into more detail, there are cases in which there are no actual activities to conduct expository writing or learn knowledge and functions needed for expository writing. This leads to the failure to reflect the purpose of the 2007 revised Korean curriculum which maps out on its central axis the integration of knowledge, functions, and contexts. This means the 2007 revised Korean curriculum is hard to carry out in case textbook-centered lesson is conducted in school.
