In the phonological process like `noh + nin → nonnin`, it is generally called as nasalization that `h` has changed to `n`. I would like to reanalyse this process on the base of prosodic phenomenon. Here a syllable of Korean was supposed to have two demisyllable structure and then in the closed syllable(CVC), Initial C and medial V were composed of a frontier demisyllable whereas coda C was composed of a posterior demisyllable. This demisyllable structure was realized on the level of lexical(word) phonology. If the internal layers of Korean grammar were allowed, this lexical layer was sensitively activated on the level of length of syllable. But on the dimension of sentence phonology, a node of demisyllables should received the projection of mora, unit of weight in a syllable. In order to fortify a perceptive cues of a syllable length, the notion of weight was added. A prosodic mora which was projected on the posterior demisyllable node should license its dependent coda segment. At this stage the licensed coda consonant should have a root node in a feature geometry in order to be realised on the surface. On the basis of phonetic properties, `h` has intrinsically not a root node and so `h` could not be licensed by the higher level mora. It made impossible to realise phonetic implementation of `h`. Instead the coda mora have to license a initial onset of the immediately following syllable and a gemination of onset consonant was consequently realised.
