이 연구는 텍스트 중심의 통합 문법 교육을 위한 지역 방언의 실제적인 교수·학습 방안을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 언어 현상에 대해 분절적으로 접근하는 방식에서 벗어나 문법 단위를 이해하기 위한 분석의 단위로 작동하는 텍스트를 중심으로 통합 문법 교육이 실현될 때, 문법 교육의 효용성이 확보될 수 있기 때문이다. 지역 방언은 인공적으로 규정한 표준어와 달리 실제 학습자들의 삶 속에 녹아 있는 자연 언어이므로 텍스트 중심의 통합 문법 교육의 실현 양상을 보이기에 적합하다고 할 수 있다. 학습자들이 지역 방언을 바르게 알고 살려 쓸 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 실제 언어 자료인 텍스트 속에 담긴 지역 방언의 언어적 특성, 정의적 특성, 사회·문화적 특성들이 함께 어우러진 교수·학습이 이루어져야 하기 때문이다. 이에 이번 연구에서는 7학년 학습자들을 대상으로 지역 방언의 언어적 특성, 정의적 특성, 사회·문화적 특성들이 함께 어우러진 텍스트 중심의 통합 지역 방언 교수·학습 방안을 마련해 보았다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a practical teaching·learning method of regional dialects for text-focused integrated grammar education. The efficacy of grammar education can be secured when an integrated grammar education would be given focusing on the text, which operates as the analysis unit in the understanding of grammar unit, rather than approaching the language as a series of segments. Regional dialects are different from the standard language, which has been defined artificially. It is a natural language which is melt in the living of learners; therefore, dialects are proper language to realize the text-focused integrated grammar education. In order to have learners learn the dialects correctly and use them in proper way, the teaching·learning method on the actual language texts, containing the characteristics of language, definition, society and culture, is essentially required. Therefore, this study took the learners in the 7th grade as study subjects and suggested an integrated dialects teaching·learning method focusing on the text, which contains the characteristics of regional dialects.
