본 연구는 미술과 놀이를 접목한 미술놀이활동을 통하여 통합어린이집에서의 하루 일과 중 발달지체 유아의 문제행동으로 보이는 공격성과 주의집중에 미치는 효과를 밝히기 위하여 실시되었다. 연구대상은 만 5세의 발달지체 유아 3명이며 연구방법은 단일대상연구의 대상자간 중다기초선설계를 사용하여 기초선, 중재, 유지단계로 실시하였다. 연구결과 미술놀이활동이 발달지체 유아의 공격성과 주의집중에 긍정적 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 통합환경에서 발달지체 유아의 문제행동 감소를 위한 교육적 대안으로 미술놀이활등의 적용 가능함을 보여주었다는 점에서 연구의 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
The purpose of this study was to examine how the arts play activities which combine art and play influence on aggression and selective attention of young children with developmental delay during their daily work at an integrated nursery. The objects of study were for total three under seven-year-old with developmental delay at an integrated nursery. In order to prove the effectiveness of this research, this study used a single subject research design which was a multiple baseline across behaviors. The experimental design put into effect in the order of baseline, intervention, and follow-up phases. In light of these studies, Art play activities have influenced a positive effect on reduction of aggression of young children with developmental delay and on selective attention of children with developmental delay. This study was an important attempt in terms of showing application promise in the positive behavior support through art play activities as an educational alternative of reducing problem behavior of a young child with developmental delay at an integrated nursery.
