텍스트 권위의 해체와 개방성, 다성성(多聲性) 그리고 멀티리터리시를 본질적 속성으로 하는 하이퍼텍스트의 특징에 주목하고, 하이퍼텍스트의 속성을 시 교육의 현장에 적용하고자 하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 제시된 시 작품을 이해하고 감상하는 과정에 하이퍼텍스트의 제반 특징을 도입함으로써 감상의 주도성, 해석의 다양성, 사고의 확장성 등의 효과를 거둘 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. ‘노드’와 ‘링크’의 단순하지만 확장적으로 활용 가능한 개념과 특징을 터득하고, 이를 시 교육에 활용함으로써 텍스트에 대한 기존의 인식을 뛰어 넘을 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 감상에 대한 근본적인 인식과 태도 변화를 이룰 수 있다. 작품에 대한 개별 감상 결과를 활자매체, 시청각 매체를 활용해 기존의 다양한 컴퓨터 프로그램과 결부시키고, 이를 링크화함으로써 무한히 개방될 수 있는 텍스트 구조물을 완선해 나갈 수 있는 것이다. 활자매체 주도성이 필연적으로 강요했던 작품과 작가의 권위에서 초탈해, 감상의 주체이면서 적극적인 담론 형성자로서의 입지를 보장하는 하이퍼텍스트 구성 과정은, 다변화된 매체를 활용하고 이를 프로그램과 연계시킴으로써 시 감상의 적극성을 구현해 낼 수 있는 것이다. 단선적이고 선형적인 읽기 방식에서 입체적이고 개방적이며 독자중심의 읽기를 가능하게 하는 것이 하이퍼텍스트성을 도입한 시 감상의 효과와 의의라고 할 수 있다.

The purpose of this research is to apply the property of hypertext to the actual ground for poetic education by paying attention to the characteristics of hypertext featuring deconcstruction, openness and polyphony, and multi-literacy of text authority as its essential properties. It is expected that the introduction of the general characteristics of hypertext into the process of understanding and appreciating the suggested poetic works could bear fruit such as directedness in poetic appreciation, diversity of interpretations, escalability of thinking, etc. Mastering the simple but extendedly applicable concept and characteristic of node and link and their application to poetic education will make it possible for learners not only go beyond the existing awareness of text but also change their basic awareness and attitude toward poetic appreciation. In addition, it`s possible to complete the text structure that can be infinitely open by combining and linking the individual poetic appreciation result with the existing diverse computer programs through the use of type medium, and audio-visual medium. The organizational process of hypertext which guarantees the position as a main body and also aggressive discussion former in poetic appreciation by keeping aloof from the works and writers` authority that the directedness of type medium used to inevitably force can realize the initiative in poetic appreciation by linking diversified media and linking these to programs. Thus, it can be the effect and significance of poetic appreciation introducing the characteristics of hypertext that makes it possible to do solid, open and reader-centered reading other than unilinear and linear reading method.
