피진은 중국 사람들이 business를 피진이라고 부른데서 유래된 말이며, 교역이나 접촉, 식민지 점령 등에서 발생된다. 피진은 접촉이 많아지면 상위언어를 배우고 접촉이 낮아지면 사라지는 경계언어이다. 피진어의 기원설 중 아이말씨기원설은 아이의 경계적 성격과 소수성이 계통발생적으로 다시 나타나는 것을 의미한다. 가타리의 다층기호론적 분석을 통해 피진을 분석해 보자면, ① 소쉬르가 언급한 기표로서 기의를 고정시킬 수 없고, ② 오직 엘름슬레우의 내용과 표현의 수준에서만 의미가 전달될 수 있으며, ③ 퍼스의 상징, 지표, 도상의 차원에서 피진은 관습성(상징)이 불가능하고, 인접성(지표)로부터 출발하지만 더 나아가 상대방의 언어를 따라하는 유사성(도상)의 차원에 입각해서 소통한다는 점이 드러난다. ④ 도상이 발전하여 추상적 논리규칙으로서의 코드의 속성을 확보하면 가타리가 언급한 도표적 수준으로 나아가며, 이러한 도표는 초코드화 방식으로부터는 자유롭지만 특이하게 고도로 코드화되어 있다. 피진은 몸짓, 춤, 의례, 색채, 음향, 표정 등비기표적 기호론에 기반하고 있으며, 탈영토화하면서도 색다르게 코드화하려는 도표작용으로 나타난다. 피진이라는 도표를 생산하는 기계설비가 네트워크상에서 나타나면, 기표권력이 작동할 수 없게 되며 동시에 변용의 흐름 을 통해 특이성이 생산된다. 그러므로 피진의 특이성 생산은 전체 네트워크를 색다른 방향으로 나아가게 만들며, 그것은 절대적 탈영토화의 문턱이다.
A pidgin is the language that have originated in the Chinese`s pronunciation of ``business`` and have formed by trade, contact, and colony occupation. The pidgin is the border language because it is integrated when there are more contacts, but it is disappear when there is little contacts. The Baby Talk Theory is one of the genesis of pidgin, which means that child``s boundary characteristic and minority reappears phylogenetically. Analyzing the pidgin through Guattari`s polysemiotic framework, ① Unlike Ferdinand de Saussure`s word, the signifier is not able to fix the signified. ② The meaning can be communicated at level of both content and expression in terms of Louis Hjelmslev. ③ The pidgin cannot have conventionality(symbol), start from contiguity(index), and be communicated at dimension of similarity(icon) to target language in terms of C. S. Peirce. ④ The icon come up to the level of diagram when it become to have the nature of code, abstract logic rule. This diagram is free from overcoding, but is highly coded unusually. The pidgin is based on a-signifying semiotics(gesture, dance, ritual, color, sound, and expression, etc) and appear through the diagram effect both deterritorializing and coding differently. When machinery produces the pidgin diagram in the network, the signifier power cannot work and the singularity is produced through affection. Therefore, the singularity production of pidgin make the whole network to move in other direction, which is the phylum of absolute deterritorialization.
