이 연구는 일반 청소년을 위한 수련활동에 장애청소년의 수련활동을 통합하여 지원할 수 있는 방안을 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 대구·경북 특수학교 교사 234명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 장애청소년의 통합 수련활동 실태, 지원, 그리고 수련활동 활성화 방안에 대한 인식을 알아보았다. 그 결과는 첫째, 장애청소년을 위한 통합 수련활동에 참여한 특수학교 교사의 수는 26.5%에 불과하였다. 둘째, 장애청소년 통합 수련활동에 참여한 경험이 없는 특수학교 교사가 참여한 경험이 있는 특수학교 교사보다 장애청소년 통합 수련활동 지원에 대하여 보다 긍정적으로 인식하였다. 셋째, 특수학교 교사들의 의견을 바탕으로 장애청소년 통합 수련활동 활성화를 위해서 무엇보다 프로그램의 내용 및 수준과 함께 다양화를 모색해야 한다. 장애청소년을 위한 통합 수련활동은 사회통합을 위한 주요 과정임을 강조하였다.

The purpose of this study was to illustrate the special school teachers`s recognition toward inclusive training activities for youth with disabilities at training center for youth with non-disabilities. 234 teachers who were working for special school were participated for this study. The questionnaire was divided into three parts which were the special school teachers` recognition toward the situations, supports, and developmental methods for inclusive training activity. The results of this study were that: (a) the number of the special school teachers who had the experiences to participate in the inclusive training activity program is only 26.5%; (b) the special school teachers who had the experiences to participate for the inclusive training activity indicated more negative attitudes toward the inclusive training activity than those of the special school teachers who had no experience to participate for the inclusive training activity; and (c) the most important factor for meaningful inclusive training activity was to develop the contents and level of the program and to develop the various program for inclusive training activity of the youth with disabilities. Therefore this study concluded that the training activity was a meaningful program to support the social inclusion for youth with disabilities.
