다문화사회로의 진입을 예견하면서 다문화교육에 대한 관심도 매우 높아졌다. 하지만 학교에서의 다문화교육 측면에서의 접근으로서 주로 다문화가정 아동의 일상생활에서 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있는 외국인 부모 즉, 결혼이주여성(한국의 경우, 어머니인 경우가 많음)의 한국에서의 사회화 과정에 초점을 맞춘 교육에 대한 논의를 중심으로 많이 이뤄지고 있었다. 다시말해, 결혼이주여성들의 적극적이고 능동적인 참여를 극대화하기 보다는 교육의 수혜 대상으로서의 면이 부각된 경우가 많았다. 이러한 경우, 결혼이주여성이 다문화가정 자녀의 부모로서의 역할에 대한 측면만 강조하였을 뿐, 그들 스스로의 잠재력을 키울 수 있는 방안에 대한 제시는 부족하였다. 따라서 본 글에서는 ``이주의 여성화``의 한 사례로서 여성결혼이주를 디아스포라 현상으로 정의하고, 이들이 형성하는 정치사회적인 관계망을 네트워크의 시각에서 살펴봄으로서 구체적으로 결혼이주여성네트워크를 행위자-네트워크 이론(ANT)과 사회연결망이론(SNA)을 통해 여성결혼이주민의 출신국에서의 가족과 맺어지는 네트워크가 어떻게 형성되고 그 안에서의 층위가 형성되는지 분석하였다. 이를 통해 다문화 교육의 수혜대상으로서 결혼이주여성을 바라보는 관점에서 벗어나 보다 주체적이고 적극적인 정치참여주체로서의 결혼이주여성에 대한 논의를 도출하였다. 이와 같은 네트워크 분석을 통한 시도는 결혼이주여성이 네트워크를 통해 형성하는 소프트파워를 바탕으로 다문화 사회의 능동적인 정치적 주체로서의 발전 가능성을 살펴볼 수 있을 것이다.
``Feminization of migration`` characterizes transnational migration. Nowadays, female transnational marriage migrants from developing countries(especially. South East Asia nation, and china and so on) become a significant minority group in South Korea society. The study analyzes the process of making the diaspora power for the female transnational marriage migrants` political network. The chief method of analysis used network theory. Especially, focus on the Actor-Network Theory and Social Network Analysis. This study emphasizes the possibility which is the female transitional marriage`s soft-power. Given these findings illustrated above, it is critical to acknowledge the relationship between multicultural education program and local and government mylticutural policy. Moreover, it is important for multicutural education educators to explore various aspects of female transnational marriage migrants based on a broad range of theoretical approaches, the opening up possibilities for more dynamic multicutural education.
