본 연구는 놀이치료 슈퍼비전 훈련과정에 참여한 실습생들의 슈퍼바이저 체험을 탐색하는데에 목적이 있다. 따라서 질적 연구방법인 심층 면담 및 참여관찰의 방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 드러난 훈련생들의 체험 현상은 다음과 같다. 실습생들은 슈퍼바이저의 역할에 대한 책임감과 불안으로 인하여 부담감과 역할 혼돈을 경험하였다. 이러한 부담감은 초보자인 자신을 인식하게 될 때 더욱 두드러지게 되었다. 둘째로, 참여자들은 실습 초기에 소통이 잘 이루어 질 것이라 기대하였으나, 이러한 기대가 어긋나면서 좌절을 경험하였고, 그럴수록 소통을 더욱 잘 하기 위한 여러 가지 방법들을 고민하기 시작하였다. 이는 슈퍼바이지를 더욱 잘 이해하는 계기가 되었으며, 자기 성찰의 계기가 되었다. 셋째로, 슈퍼바이저 실습생들은 슈퍼바이지와 관계를 맺으면서 자신의 모습을 되돌아 볼 수 있는 기회를 갖게 되었다. 이러한 자기성찰은 수업을 통한 집단 슈퍼비전의 과정을 경험하면서 더욱 촉진되었다. 마지막으로 실습을 통해 사례를 보는 눈이 달라짐을 인식하였고, 슈퍼바이저에 대한 이해를 달리 하게 되었으며, 전문가로서 더욱 성장하는 기회가 되었다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the supervisor practice of play-therapy supervision trainees. For this purpose, this study was performed using interview and participant observation. The trainees` experiences can be categorized into four major findings. First, the trainees have experienced a feeling of obligation and anxiety because of confusion in the role of supervisor. Second, they expected that they could understand each other; however, they had difficulty in communicating properly. They, therefore, tried to find out various ways to improve communication skills. Third, supervisor trainees had a chance to reflect on themselves. Their reflection has been promoted in the class. Finally, their view of cases has been significantly changed. They come to understand the role of supervisor and the meaning of growth as professionals.
