이 논문은 1930년대 여류문인(문사)들의 저널활동을 분석하여, 당대의 여류문인 비판이 문단권력에 의한 여성배제의 전략적 담론이라고 일반화하는 것이 왜 위험한지를 보여주고자 했다. 당대 문단에서 여류문인들을 향해 소녀(문학), 학생(작품), 감상적 센티멘탈리즘, (지적)허영, 비현실적 글쓰기 등으로 담론화한 것은 그들의 삶, 가치관, 현실을 바라보는 태도와 관련이 된다. 여류문인들의 지적 수준은 교육받은 엘리트에 대한 기대에 미치지 못했으며, 조선 현실과는 동떨어진 감각으로 문장을 만들고 있다. 이런 것들이 논의되지 않을 때 여성문학사는 빈곤하게 된다. 문제는 여성문학사를 새롭게 연구하고, 구성하고자 하여도 당대에 침묵하던 존재(담론)의 흔적을 찾기가 쉽지 않아 늘 호명되던 사람들만 언급하게 된다는 것이다. 그래서 이 논문에서는 널리 알려진 여류문사들의 저널활동을 살펴, 그들의 실체를 알고 문학사에 어떤 의미로 편입시킬 것인지를 고민해야 한다는 것을 강조했다.

This paper analyzes the bas bleus` participation in journals in the 1930s, and tries to show why it is risky to make a general claim that the criticism on the contemporary bas bleus was a strategic approach to exclude women by the power of literary circles. The comments by the contemporary literary circles toward the bas bleus as girls` (literature), students` (works), emotional sentimentalism, intellectual vanity, and unrealistic writing are connected with their lives, values, and attitudes toward the reality. The female writers` intellectual level did not meet the expectations for the educated elite, producing sentences that were a far cry from the reality of Joseon. Without this consideration, the history of feminine literature would become destitute. Even with the intention of newly examining and organizing the history of feminine literature, it is not easy to find a trace of existing discussion, which was covert at that time. The same people, who were referred to repeatedly, have always been mentioned over and again. Hence this paper emphasizes that it is necessary to learn about bas bleus by looking into the reputed bas bleus` participation in journals and consider how to incorporate them into the history of literature.
