This paper aimed at clarifying writers thought in Choseon Dynasty about Kwanmyo(關廟), a shrine of Kwanwoo(關羽). Kwanmyo(關廟) is the Kwanwoo`s shrine, who was a general of Chokhan(蜀漢) in the period of the Three Kingdoms in China. Kwanwoo was performed a sacrifice at his shrine since Tang(唐) Dynasty. In Choseon Dynasty, it began at King Seonjo(宣祖). Most of Chinese were respecting Kwanwoo as Mars in a wartimes, as a God solving a drought, a famine, a disease in a peaceful reign, as a God of wealth in recent times. In Choseon Dynasty, Kwanwoo was respected as a guardian God, praying the welfare of Kingdom. Kwanmyo was the place praying the safety during an itinerary. Envoys of Choseon Dynasty sent to China, wrote prose and poetry about Kwanmyo, viewing in places. They admired Kwanmyo`s spleendid and wonderful scale, and was respecting Kwanwoo`s loyalty. They were singing the uncertainty of time in changed condition with old times, were using a means expressing individual inspirations. About the Kwanmyo established after King Seonjo in Choseon Dynasty, some writers clarified the whole story of construction, or proposed about sacrificial rites, The Kwanmyo was becoming respectable object, was understanding that of bring about a curious affair. And was singing a peaceful reign, using as a simple materials, using a means expressing individual inspirations.
