<권주가> 노랫말을 기존 자료들에 근거하여 정리해 본 결과, 한시, 시조, 가사 등 다양한 연원의 노랫말을 수용한 17종류의 단위사설이 추출되었으며 그 역사적 전승과정을 확인할 수 있었다. 이들은 3-10종의 노랫말로 짜여진 다양한 각편들이 존재하는바, 17종류의 통사적으로 묶여 있는 덩어리 노랫말들이 그 위치가 바뀌거나, 신생 혹은 사라지면서 새롭게 유행되었다. <권주가> 노랫말 형성의 주요 요소는 ``권주`` 기능상 갖게 되는 근원적 유흥성, 연행성과 현장성, 전승상의 구비성과 즉흥성, 유동성 그리고 상투성과 대중성, 유행성이다. 기억력에 의존하여 대중적으로 유행했던 단위 사설을 연행 상황에 따라 편사함으로써 향유되었고 기록되었다. 이는 유흥의 장에서 흥미를 배가하는 유희적 동기에서 비롯된 방식으로서 그 지향점이 흥취지향에 놓여 있다. 따라서 <권주가> 사설은 유기적 짜임에 상관없이 유사 정서를 담고 있는 익숙한 노랫말을 나열하고 있는바, 위치(배열)의 뒤바뀜, 사설의 불규칙적 생략과 단형화, 노랫말의 부분적 변이 등 제 현상이 반영되어 있다. <권주가>는 한시와 시조 그리고 가사 등 당대에 유행했던 ``노랫말``들이 친화관계에 의해 다양한 텍스트 교섭양상을 보이고 있다. 이들 노랫말은 문화적 관습 속에 잘 알려진 원텍스트를 모방 인용하면서 융통성있는 변용이 자유자재로 이루어지는 방식으로 형성된 것이다.
As a result that I arranged the lyrics of Kwonjooga based on the existing data, I extract 17 units of lyrics which have accepted lyrics originated from Hansi, Sijo and Gasa etc. And I confirm the historical transmitting process. There are 3 to 10 types of versions with well-knitted lyrics. They were being newly popular that 17 syntactic units of lyrics had been changed its positions, appeared or disappeared. The main constitutes of the formation of Kwonjooga are sourceful characters of entertainment, performance and actuality. There are orality, liquidity, conventionality, popularity and improvising on transmission also. Kwonjooga had been enjoyed and recorded rely on the memory by transcribing popular units of lyrics as performing situations. It aimed to the joy by the way which had started with a joyful motive in order to increase interest at the field of enjoying it. The lyrics of Kwonjooga reflect the phenomena such as switching its arrangement, irregular skip and simplification of narratives and changing lyrics partly. So it enumerated familiar lyrics which contained a similar emotion without an organic structure. Kwonjooga shows variety aspects of the interaction through affinitive relations with the popular lyrics of Hansi, Sijo and Gasa of the time. These lyrics had been developed by the way which transfigured unrestricted through imitating and quoting well-known original texts within the cultural custom.
