Hwang Jini is a famous gisaeng and a poet who had a distinguished poetic talent both in Chinese poetry and Sijo. It is regrettable that only a few her works are existent today but the existent poems of 6 Sijo and 8 Chinese poems shows her individual and outstanding poetic achievement.
