A Study on Simajaki Dosong`s Naturalist Novels This paper aims to analyze the naturalistic characteristics reflected in Simajaki Dosong`s novels such as Hakai, SinSei, and Ie. In Dosong`s works, two major characteristics are found: First, this papaer deals with status-confession and self discovery in Hakai, autobiographical nature and self-confession in SinSei, and feudalistic life and the pursuit of a new way of living in Ie. Second, Dosong`s naturalism is found to include some romantic nature.
