이 논문은 조선 후기 시가에 나타난 ``노년 여성``의 형상화 양상을 살피는 데에 목적을 두고 있다. ``노년 여성``은 ``남성 중심 이데올로기``로부터의 소외와 ``젊음(아름다움)``으로부터의 소외로 인해 이중 타자화된 존재로 살아가게 된다. 가부장 이데올로기가 고착화된 조선 후기를 살아간 ``노년 여성``에게 ``잘 나이들기``란 애초에 불가능한 소망이었는지도 모를 일이다. 조선 후기 시가에 나타난 ``노년 여성``의 형상화 양상을 살펴 본 결과, 첫째 가부장적 질서를 내면화하고 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 타자화된 존재로 살게끔 한 가부장적 이념이 ``노년 여성``에게는 너무도 익숙한 관념으로 자리잡은 것이다. 둘째, 모습은 추레하게, 행동은 볼썽사납게 묘사되었다. 노년 여성은 신성하지도 규범적이지도 못했기에 존경의 대상으로 여겨지지 않았다. 셋째, ``노년 여성``의 성적 욕망은 희화화되었다. 성적 욕망은 인간의 보편적 감정임에도 불구하고, 그것이 노년 여성에 의한 것이면 저열한 욕망으로 그려졌다. 진지한 목소리로 진술되지 못했다. 이렇게 조선 후기 시가에 나타난 ``노년 여성``은 진지하게 자신을 성찰하는 존재로 여겨지지 않았다. 근대에 들어서는 ``노년 여성`` 관련 담론 자체가 자취를 감춘다. 새로운 시대에 새로이 부각된 주체는 ``청년[소년]``과 ``신여성``이었기 때문이다. 이에 대한 자세한 고찰은 훗날을 기약하고자 한다.

This thesis is aimed to studied ``Aged women`` aspect of the shape in Poetry of Late Choson. ``Aged women`` living in Double Othering existence. ``Aged women`` living in Patriarchal ideology at the Late Choson is impossible to ``aging well``. The results are as follows. The first, Internalized the patriarchal order was able to find out. a patriarchal ideology which be alive in Existence Othering is located too familiar with notion to ``Aged women``. The second, the shape is shabbiness, and the action is ugly. Neither divine nor did the average Aged women was not considered respectable. The third, ``Aged woman``s sexual desire was the caricature. Nevertheless Human sexual desire is a universal emotion, Aged women`s sexual desire is thought that the vulgarness. Serious voice was not. ``Aged women`` appeared in Poetry of Late Choson was not considered to existence of serious self-reflection. In modern, Women`s discourse itself disappeared. New stand out existence at New Times was ``Young people`` and ``The modern woman``. For more discussion on this would like to pledge the future.
