이 연구에서는 러시아 지역 한인들의 연극 활동 및 연극 비평을 고찰하였다. 1920년대부터 1930년대 초는 러시아의 사회주의화가 급속화된 시기이다. 또한 이 시기는 사회주의 이념의 선전 도구로서 문화예술을 적극적으로 육성시켰던 때이기도 하다. 이에 러시아 원동의 한인사회에서는 시대적 분위기에 따라 문화예술 집단이 다수 결성되었고 각지에서 춤과 노래, 연극 등의 공연 활동을 펼쳤다. 뿐만 아니라 공연에 대한 비평 활동도 활발하게 이루어지고 있었다. 본고에서는 이러한 상황을 고려하면서 예술집단의 활동 중 연극 공연 활동의 전개상과 연극 비평에 주목하여 그 구체적인 양상에 대해 고찰하였다. 특히 본고에서는 한인 신문인 『선봉』을 주요 텍스트로 삼고 있으며, 보도 자료에 나타난 러시아 지역 한인들의 연극 활동, 공연 내용 및 연극 비평 등을 주시했다. 구체적인 분석에서는 첫째, 군중문화 사업으로서의 연극 활동상, 둘째, 연극과 비평에 대한 관점, 셋째, 공연 내용과 비평의 실제 등 세 가지 항목으로 나누어 고찰하였다. 첫째 항목에서는 사회주의의 계몽과 선전 사업이라는 측면에서 연극의 의의와 극단 조직의 양상을 살폈으며, 둘째 항목에서는 연극 비평을 책무라 여긴 당대 연극계의 상황과 연극관을 고찰하였으며, 셋째 항목에서는 공연 내용과 공연에 대한 평론의 실제를 분석하였다.

This study analyzed about Korean play activity and Play criticism of the Korean in Russia. And this treatise considered play data reported to a Korean Newspaper, 『Seon-Bong』. It is spread socialism in Russias at the beginning of 1930`s from 1920`s. And At national, encouraged positively a culture art so that a nation advertised a socialism ideology. In these times, the atrical group was formed accoding to the political atmospheres in Korean societies in Won-Dong region of the Russia. And they put on a display of performances activity such as a dance and a song, a play etc. from all over. Besides, activity of critical performance. This study tried to consider play and performance information through the data which it was collected at newspapers. This thesis analyzed a concrete aspect of play performances and play criticism during activity of an artistic group while taking the above-mentioned situation into consideration. It was divided to three items, the first, the play with enlightenment and advertisement tools, the second, A play and a viewpoint regarding criticism. the third, performance contents and criticism, the third, and you considered. This study tried to consider play activity and Play criticism of the Korean in Russia through the above-mentioned examinations. And It would enlarge the horizon of understanding regarding play activity of a Korean abroad.
