The primary aim of this study is to conceptualize ``Text-based Integration in Grammar Education``. For it, we analyze and re-read advanced researches which are related this perspective. As a result, we can categorize two types according to main criterion, degree of integration and relation between grammar and texts. Through comparing and contrasting two types of researches, we suggest essential conditions of ``Text-based Integration in Grammar Education``. First of all, the leaners can interpret hidden meaning of texts and hidden intension of writer, through paying attention to grammatical forms. In this process, the leaners must consider the social quality of genre that constructs meaning and convention of texts. Furthermore, there are three conceptual-layers of ``comprehension of texts by using grammar knowledge``. Based on it, this study supposes the nature and value of grammar education which has a decisive influence on integration in Korean education.
